Getting Started with EduTrack

Welcome to EduTrack! Whether you are a Principal, Teacher, or Parent, your dashboard provides exactly what you need.

Step 1: Claim Your Account

EduTrack uses an invite-only onboarding system to ensure you are linked to the correct school and students. You cannot sign up from the homepage blindly.

You will receive an Invite Link via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email from your school administrator or class teacher.

Click the link.

Enter your name and set a secure password.

Click Complete Setup.

You will immediately be logged in and redirected to your specific portal.

Note

Note: If you are a Parent with multiple children at the same school, your single account will automatically show all your children's profiles.

Step 2: Navigate Your Portal

Depending on your role, your experience will look different.

For Principals & Admins

Your portal is at /dashboard. You have full oversight of school operations.

See active student counts, fee collection summaries, and overall attendance.
Navigate to the Classes, Teachers, or Finances tabs on the left to drill down.

For Teachers

Your portal is at /teacher.

Class Teachers: You will see a list of your assigned students. You can mark daily attendance and generate invite links for parents.
Subject Teachers: You will see the specific subjects you teach (e.g., Grade 4 Math) and can enter exam scores.

For Parents

Your portal is at /parent.

View your child's recent exam results.
Check their termly fee balance.
Pay school fees directly from your phone.

Step 3: Personalize and Install the App (Web App)

EduTrack is a Progressive Web App (PWA) designed to work perfectly on your phone and desktop. You don't need to visit the App Store.

From your Profile Dropdown (Top Right Corner):

Click your initials in the top right corner of any portal.

Select Theme to toggle between Light, Dark, or System modes.

If your device supports it, click Install App to securely download EduTrack to your device.

Click Enable Notifications so you never miss an important school update.

Alternative Manual Installation (Phones):

iPhone (Safari): Tap the Share button at the bottom, then Add to Home Screen.
Android (Chrome): Tap the Menu (three dots) in the top right, then Install App.

Now you can open EduTrack just like a normal app on your phone.
